A 35-year digital and content visionary, Deanna Brown is a media industry veteran, recognized for delivering extraordinary growth and innovation for some of the world’s most influential brands, including Yahoo, AOL, and Conde Nast. A driven culture architect and transformational leader, Deanna has built proactive, dynamic teams necessary to respond to business changes and opportunities.
Deanna’s recent endeavor is Dragonfly Sports – the first and only global multi-sports monetization team and fan-engagement solution dedicated to women’s professional sports. Dragonfly brings together the best and brightest in the industry to disrupt and capitalize on one of the fastest growing, multi-billion dollar opportunities in media and entertainment.
Deanna also served as advisor to Penske Media, launching a new venture fund and lab based in the startup hub of Austin, TX. She also served as Managing Director of MRC Media, modernizing the iconic brands Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. Professional accomplishments include re-imagining content strategy and operations at GuideSpark, building out and transitioning as CEO and Board Member at Federated Media LLC, leading the charge on bringing Scripps into the digital space as President of Scripps Networks Digital, and co-founding CondeNet, the digital division of Conde-Nast.
She’s been featured as one of the Top Women in Media by Folio Magazine, Ad Age’s Women to Watch, and an Exceptional Woman in Publishing by Exceptional Women in Publishing.
Deanna currently splits her time between Austin and Los Angeles.
