Brian Marrinan is a general partner at Team ABC Ventures, a specialist venture capital fund focused on investing in a future of efficient, sustainable, transportation and travel. Based in Dublin, Ireland, to date the fund has invested in 10 early-stage companies across the Americas’ and Europe. Prior to Team ABC, Brian co-founded Propeller, an investment fund and acceleration programme for aviation and travel technologies backed by Boeing, the aviation regulator in Ireland and others, where he invested in 19 companies worldwide. Brian has been in the entrepreneurial ecosystem for more than 20 years, having established the worlds’ first fintech incubator in Boston more than 20 years ago, Ireland’s first startup accelerator which has gone on to invest in hundreds of companies since and is still the leading programme in the country, as well as several corporate innovation programmes such as the establishment of the world’s first aviation leasing innovation and sustainability hub. Brian previously worked at the professional services firm EY, the top 100 ranked UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and has held several other consulting roles in strategy and talent in Ireland, the UK and the US. His qualifications include an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a BSc in Business Information Systems amongst others.
