Jake is partner at Marque Ventures where he invests in defense technologies strengthening the security of America and her partners around the globe. Jake was selected to be the Managing Director of the Army Venture Capital Corporation (AVCC), the organization created by Congress to serve as DoD’s dedicated venture capital fund. In this role, he worked closely with members of Congress, senior leaders, and war fighters to draft and pass legislation to help connect DoD and the entrepreneurial community. Before AVCC, Jake co-founded Alpha Bridge Ventures and co-founded Pilea, a full scope founder support platform (executive coaching, therapy, nutrition, sleep habits, etc) growing it into an industry leading multi-million-dollar stand-alone business. Before his career as a founder and investor, Jake worked as a woebegone fund formation and emerging companies tech lawyer at Cooley Godward.
