Kristof is passionate about how agriculture can be incorporated into the built environment. This led him to co-found Up Top Acres, a Washington DC based company that designs, builds, and maintains rooftop, soil-based farms and gardens. He leverages partnerships with real estate firms, social impact organizations, and local governments to use low tech solutions to quickly and cheaply increase the amount of growing space in city centers. His work has led to recognition as a Halcyon Fellow and Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Entrepreneurship.
