Michael Winter is the CEO of JOLT America, a Co-Founder and Board Member of JOLT Energy Group expanding its European charge point operator roots to North America with EV ultra-fast-charging services (up to 150 miles in 10 minutes) in urban/suburban environments enabled by minimally-intrusive buffer technology.

Winter is an engineer, banker and a German Air Force military veteran with over 25 years in leadership roles in energy services, financial services sectors and the military. He has been serving on company and non-profit boards throughout his career. Prior to co-founding JOLT Energy, Winter held leadership roles with Bank of America, GE Energy Services, Hitachi Power Systems and as a 2nd Lieutenant in the German Air Force. Most recently, he was responsible to deploy sustainable capital and expand into underserved markets, including veteran entrepreneurship, as Business Development Executive for Bank of America.

Winter holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University Clausthal, Germany and MBA from Union College, NY. Growing up in Germany, he became a proud U.S. Citizen in 2012 and is passionate about STEM, history and military veteran causes.
