Nupur is a Non-Executive board member of Shell Netherlands, Shell is the largest energy and oil company in Europe, board member of Amsterdam Economic Board The Netherlands and Impact Advisory Council member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers and a project champion for the Women’s Health Initiative of the World Economic Forum. An internationally acclaimed speaker, Nupur has given worldwide more than 150 speeches in recent years. Winner of the TEDx speaker award in Delft, Netherlands she has given 7 TEDx Talks in Europe and Asia and has been regularly featured in European and International media outlets in all formats. Further, she aspires to reduce stress in societies and businesses, affecting decision-making, productivity, and profitability. She did substantial research on stress and productivity and is author of the book “Chill! How to survive stress and improve personal and professional productivity. Symptoms and solutions to chronic pressure” with a foreword from two former Prime Ministers from Europe and Asia.
She received the Most Inspiring Woman of the Netherlands award twice. For leading gender equality and women empowerment, honored by the Dutch Government. Dutch Financial Times (FD) has placed her in the list of top 50 young leaders of the Netherlands 2019.
She is a team member of the World Economic Forum Chatbots RESET healthcare project, building a governance framework for the responsible use of AI in healthcare and contributed to two World Economic Forum reports, she is also team member of the World Economic Forum Generation AI: Developing Artificial Intelligence Standards for Children. She co-started the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Project Shaping AI and is the Health Lead of the AI Future Lab, creating a unified space for leadership, research, data-driven projects, networking, and community building around artificial intelligence for young people around the globe. She has mentored young female professionals from STEM in several organizations and is an advocate and speaker on the responsible use of technology and AI, especially in healthcare. She often collaborates as speaker and moderator to share her knowledge on Healthcare, AI and Technology on several platforms among which She Leads Tech of YES! Delft, Technical University in the Netherlands and Governing health futures 2030: Growing up in a Digital World of The Lancet and Financial Times Commission. As a Rising Talent, class of 2022, of the Women’s Forum for Economy and Society, France, she promotes the development of technology in Women’s Health, to reduce the increased gender health gap.
