According to the Centers for Disease and Control Prevention, the United States has around 61 million adults with disabilities, which represents 26% of adults in the U.S. – or 1 in 4. Technology exists to assist not only people with a range of disabilities but a rapidly aging population and those with specific mobility and sensing issues.
